Qualifications:
- This is an entry-level position. An associate’s degree with coursework in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Advertising, Journalism, and Communications is required
- Strong technical writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Software proficiency in the Google Suite, Photoshop, Canva, and InDesign
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Team player, Organized, Flexible, and a desire to make our company shine against our competition
- Experience in evaluating advertising and conversion metrics
Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design
- Familiar with Canva/Photoshop/InDesign to work within existing branding and create mailers, door hangers, and other public communication, as well as consulting on website design
- Social Media Management
- Manage and engage our community on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and create exciting content for our platforms
- Drive social media growth and engagement
- Schedule daily/monthly/weekly content placements on social media platforms.
- Reporting
- Keeping track of the data
- Create and maintain ROI reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Establishing and evaluating marketing strategy by assembling sales forecasts, setting objectives, organizing promotional presentation, and updating calendars

Valley Tree Care is a family of dedicated tree care experts in the Phoenix Arizona Valley. Our rich roots span across 27 years and 3 generations. Richard S. Schmidt, a retired electrician, planted the seed when he began offering the service of applying granular to the trees in his surrounding neighborhoods in 1996. His eldest son, Richard H. Schmidt took over the family business in 1999, and continued to nurture it, providing fertilization services throughout the Valley. His eldest son, Richard H. Schmidt II, stepped into his role in the Valley Tree family in 2015 and took over the family business and tradition. He applied a dedication to the past, and a vision for the future to branch out into the full spectrum plant health care and tree maintenance company that we are today.
